We have been in practice for 28 years. We treat a broad spectrum of patients, with an emphasis in nutrition and sports related injuries. We use many different modalities (gua sha, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, cold light laser, etc.). We initially tried Scenar out of desperation because of Dr. Beth's worsening temporomandibular pain. We had already tried many different modalities and had seen a dentist and endodontist who were unable to identify the cause of the pain. The pain relief with Scenar was almost immediate. We were very impressed.
Two weeks later, Dr. Don pulled a calf muscle while playing softball. He limped around for 24 hours in pain and figured it would take about 2 weeks to heal. We used the Scenar and within 2 hours he was walking normally, felt no pain and by the next day was 99% improved. At that point we started using Scenar on selected patients with very impressive results. Groin pulls, lumbar strains, plantar fasciitis, trapezius muscle spasms, etc. have all responded very quickly. Many times patients get off the table and feel significant pain reduction and increased range of motion. "Scenar is my new best friend" and "I feel like I have a new leg" have been some of the patient comments. We are excited about Scenar's potential and it is quickly moving to the top of our list as therapy of choice.
